But i cannot see the "Message" button they are referring to, both in new that in old interface.

I am the Executive Director for One Brick, a national nonprofit that aims to create communities of volunteers through easy, social volunteering. We have 7 chapters across the country that are all completely volunteer run. They are in Boston, NYC, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco & Oakland, and Silicon Valley. 

Each month our chapters host anywhere between 2 and 20 volunteer events that are open to any individual who would like to participate. Typically we offer some sort of social event after we volunteer for volunteers to get to know each other. 

I noticed there are no Volunteer Day events posted in the US. I'd love to connect with you and see how One Brick might be helpful in offering some events for Guides to sign up for and meet others!

@MelissaG Thank you for writing to us. The Local Guides Volunteer Day event is for individuals who are Local Guides only. If you are keen on hosting a volunteer day event on 10 December you can fill the form which is on the original post, make sure to submit one form per location so Local Guides in each of the regions can join the meet-up. Once the application is submitted we will review it, and once approved will be added to the My Map.

we can now able to send massage privately to guest on desktop version only ...

but in the android app we able to post public massage ....

@AradhanaB I submitted an event and it is not shown on the map. How long will it take to publish on the map? If it is published, we can use it to attract more people.
