[RECAP] Vasai Fort Geo Walk

Unexpected guests

I hosted my 1st meet up "Vasai Fort Geo Walk" on 16th April 2017. I was not expecting any Local Guide, because there was no any response on Connect. I share this event on Social network like Facebook and Whatsapp. At the meeting point 10 to 15 people was waiting for me. I introduced my self as a host of this event and ask them how they know about this event and why they are here. They said we got this information by friends and we just want to explore this Fort. People near my city they don't have idea about Local Guide. I gave info. about Local Guide.
We had breakfast and that time one group join us for Geo Walk. There were two guys who gave brief information about Fort and also history of Vasai village. They were with us in entire trail and gave proper info. about every part and every structure of fort which was unknown for everyone.
They also take us to the hidden tunnel of fort. It is around553 feet long and very short in height. All participants were happy when they visit and crossed that tunnel.
This meet up encouraged me to host more meet up like this. Some people are coming for my next meet up at Raigad Fort.

You are a star for spreading the word about Local Guides! 🙂 Did anyone at the meet-up become a Local Guide eventually?

 

And that tunnel is indeed long! How much time did you guys take to get from one end to the other?

Yes some people started posting photos on google map as Google Local Guide. 

That tunnel is 553 feet long and just 3 feet in height. We took 12 to 15 minutes to cross it.
