[RECAP] Nigeria Accessible Walk-Owerri

After the previous day's meetup  in Mbaise, I was joined Kolapo for the Owerri meetup. It rained torrentially but I had to do this without any excuse. My trip from Mbaise to Owerri (35km) took about two hours drive.

Our shoes got soaked as we trudged along the waterlogged apian ways.

We were able to take some photos, edit maps and capture 360 degree photo.

Some of the places we visited included Wethederal road, Port Harcourt Road and World Bank Housing Area.

It is quite impressive to note that some buildings do have accessibility trails to enable people with disability get into their facilities with ease but more needs to be done. There needs to be a standard code enforced by the building authority.

The Owerri Accesibility Walk was exciting and afforded us to uncover unknown places in the city.

Congratulations @EmekaUlor on your meet up!

Sometimes we don't think about the accessibility features of a place, but thanks to being a local guides, it's something that we take into account everyday and every place we go to.

Thanks for sharing your recap with us 🙂

Best wishes

Valeria
