It’s my great pleaser  to share my experience with all of you about our Kathmandu AGM Meet-up. Actually our meet-up place was too far from where we live.  I went ,along with some of my friends from Rautahat and Sarlahi District. We decided stay in a hotel and booked three rooms in  KORIANA  Hotel ,Sundhara.We tried to contact some of local guides from Kathmandu  but due to their busy schedule, they missed the Meet-up.

As we already mentioned in our program that we were also going to  participate in the Annual  General Meeting  of Computer Association of Nepal(CAN) Federation.

On the day of our meet-up, all we friends were got ready and took some snap of photos.

 

First of all, we went to the Head office of CAN Federation. Where, we met  the president of CAN and other members of the organization.

We gave information about our program to all CAN members as well as all the information about Google Map and Local Guides Connect.

They were very pleased to know about us and about our program

We went our meet-up venue at 4:00 pm,where we again took some photos.

 

 

Here is some thing about the CAN Federation .

Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) was formed in May 1992 but was formally registered in December 1992 and later registered as Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation) in January 2015 with the involvement of professionals, specialists, institutions and related organizations from the Information Communication Technology  sector  in Nepal. It is an umbrella organization with membership base ranging from ICT Institutions, Associations

to Individuals working in this sector. CAN Federation works along with the lines of an autonomous, non-political nonpartisan, nonprofitable and service oriented sector of ICT.

 CAN Federation  organize annual programs like CAN Info-Tech, CAN Sof-Tech, National ICT Day, ICT Excellence Award and ICT Conference are held and have recognized in the national as well as international level. CAN Federation has 53 district branches across the country.

CAN- USA and CAN –Japan have been established as chapter members of CAN Federation .

It is the member of Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), World Information Technology Services Alliance (WITSA)

The CAN Federation  celebrated it’s  24th Annual General Meeting and  convention.

Fortunately, They elected me as a central member of The CAN Federation.

I really proud to be a member of such a well known national and international organization.

After the celebrate our victory, we had a grand party.

At the end of,  I extend my thanks to the Local Guides team for giving this opportunity to conduct the meetup. Looking forward to host more Local Guides meetup as well as to attend meetup. Thank you all !

Very well written @bhupalshrestha sir. I promised to join this meetup but I am very unlucky and sorry I can not be part of such an amazing meetup.
