They've recently changed the guidelines for supported unofficial communities - a minimum of 50 members is a must. 

If you already have a community for your locality, you can go ahead and fill up the form for moderator training - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1r6eaCjBjkBuRLryJQ8PEFCCGjgyT-DHhG8bI3rPSmaC-vw/viewform

Please note that the current average wait time is quite long.

Anything new about moderator training @AmithES @TraciC? I think I applied some time last spring but there were not that many members in the SwedenLocalGuides community back then; these days we have some 100+ folks there, yay 🙂 Basically I'm hoping that my application still exists somewhere there in the cloud(s)!

@NiiloA We announced new guidelines in the Fall here on Connect and in our Help Center and with that, a new application process. You can find the complete details in this comprehensive post shared in December. Be sure to apply on the form linked to from that post. 🙂
