Re: How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up

Hi @Anonymous - We don't provide Local Guide t-shirts for meet-up hosts. Some of the pictures you've seen were probably from our Local Guides Summit where attendees received t-shirts.

Re: How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up

Hi LG team,

Just wondering if you have or plan to have a quick blurb about the Local Guides programme that I can download, print and hand out to folks that are completely new to it. Something in the size of an A5/A6 paper with margin markers so I can quickly cut them out would be handy as well. When I'm hosting a meet up in a busy environment like a restaurant/bar, I have to keep the introductions short and sweet due to the noisy environment or I don't want to disturb other patrons, so a simple printout would be useful to have and distribute.

Thanks for considering!

Re: How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up

Hey @AdrianLunsong - We have a printable flyer on the bottom of our "how to" page that you can use. Will that work?

Re: How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up

Thanks @HelloJess. Of the various materials on the page, I think the presentation slides are the closest to what I'll need so I'll print off selected slides for passing around. Thanks again!

Re: How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up

Hello!

I just submitted my PhotoWalk Meet-Up and it was approved.

When I shared it with the local guide community of my city I noticed the post is practically plane text with a little link to the Meet-Up page and not showing any pic on it.

Maybe it's my fault?

Thanks!
