Can a local guide use Logo, badges , write Local guide while in Walks, Meet-ups for Google Maps ?

You know this week, a huge world wide Meet ups are going / will be going to happen globally.

But be aware,  One Can NOT use all the logos, names, badges (whether you have earned) etc. in Map walks, Meet ups unless otherwise authorized.

Let me take this as a question .........

- In any Geo/photo walk, Meet up etc.... Can a local guide use the following :

1. Local Guide's/Meet up Logo,   2. Badge    3. write Local guide on T-shirt, display wallpapers / Flexes 

4. Use Google and logo (I know it's clearly NO. But let me get the comments from moderators) ???

Stay on this thread and take care as it is much important for every local guide.

Hi @Prdeep We are not allowed to use the Official Local Guides Logo or other official imagery Google Maps related trade marks, but we have been giving some online resource tools in which we can use. You can print such imagery and use them for your meet-up. It is found here:https://maps.google.com/localguides/meetup/how-to

Here is a sample T-shirt I printed from the online resources for us. You can as well use those in your upcoming meet-ups 🙂

Quoting part of Local Guides Rules: "The Local Guides logo is a Google brand identity and is reserved for official use only. Do not use the Local Guides logo, pin, or any other Google imagery in any of your online or offline materials without expressed written permission."

However you can make your meet-up fun and memorable with these printable resources:

• Stickers
• Name Badges
• Bingo Card 
• Educational Flyer
