Hi @JanOski

Start an online community
All Local Guides are welcome to create an online community. We recommend you search for an existing community in your area before creating a new one to avoid duplication or overlap.

Re: Manage a local community

Hi @JanOski managing your online community is a little different to making one. I run Melbourne Local Guides and at times it is in the doldrums (like a couple of weeks ago), at other times its quite active (it is at the moment). Trying to engage the people in your community is the key and I'm happy to say I'm no expert in this as MLG is up and down like a yoyo.

Getting the members involved is important. Celebrate achievements. Have a good policy around behaviour. Hold meetups often to build real life connections.

Regards

Paul

How can I become the local Guide of my area and start the local guide community. There is no local guide community present in our area

Re: Manage a local community

Hi @Rameez there is a lot of great information on how to do it (and what you can and can't do) on this post by Traci https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Using-the-Forums/Community-Moderator-101/td-p/88618
