Hi Local Guides!

I have a question about the benefits.

I am in level 3 of Local Guides.

someone can tell me how do I get the benefits of Local Guides?

like: An invitation to event of Google..

100 GB free on the Google Drive....

Do I need to do something to get the benefits?

And if I need to do something, so what to do?

Points are only for levels and some perks and benefits.
From https://www.google.com/local/guides/benefits/
Level 1: newly registered local guide, earn points by
adding photos to existing businesses/point of interest
adding details to points in maps: ie, phone number, address, etc.
correct point informations: ie pin position in map, closing business, etc.
adding new businesses
Perks: you can access workshops, hangouts, and some other info related to LG program
Level 2: 5 or more points
Perks: early access to functions and apps in the google maps environment, create local meetups and promote them
Level 3: 50 or more points
Perks: receive the LG badge on your profile in maps, you can create a local community on google+, receive invites for Google Maps events in some cities
Level 4: 200 or more points
Perks: receive 100 Gb free (for 1 year) of upgrade of your Drive space on Google, you are entitled to be listed in LG lists online
Level 5: 500 or more points
Perks: enter the beta program of Google Maps and related apps, you can submit your request to take part to the annual Local Guides Summit

• For get Benefits u have to earn more points or increase your level where every level have different Benefits   

like: An invitation to event of Google..

• That mean you will get invitation on local guides event if they arrange in your area or country.

100 GB free on the Google Drive....

• Yes when u reach at level 4 u will get 100 GB free drive  for one year 

Do I need to do something to get the benefits?

• For get Benefits u have to earn more points or increase your level where every level have different Benefits   

And if I need to do something, so what to do?

• You have to do regular contribution on maps ...

I was just wondering about the 100GB of storage you are supposed to get when you get level 4 because I am level 7 and never received it....

@deneenrox unfortunately the promotion for the additional storage space on Google Drive ended in March 2017, and is no longer available.

Hello,

There are different perks associated with the levels. When open your google map, kindly click on the badge displayed beneath your picture, you will see what you need to do at that level to earn a new level. But I must say this, let your contributions be based on the passion to help the community to be better place rather than what you can get from google and you also need to bear in mind that google is not obliged to reward anyone.
