Importing Data

I am director with a Local Trails Society.  I would like to have the option to add and edit our data.  What I am finding is that some of Trails are already in Google Maps but are mapped poorly.  How do I fix this?  

Wouldn't it make sense if Google Imported our data.  People could then add Photos and Reviews to the Mapped Trail Feature.

if you want to edit an information about any place in google maps you can.

in google maps Suggest an Edit option is available for those who want to correct /edit information.

here are the steps :

1. Open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in.
2. Search for a place or click it on the map.
3. On the left, scroll down and select Suggest an edit. If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you can't suggest edits.
4. Follow the instructions.
5. Click Submit.

How long it takes for corrections to be published :

Google review your edits, so your changes might take some time to be updated on the map. Google may email you about the status of your edits and may forward you questions from other people who review your edits.

These Are The Few Steps You Can Follow For Edit.

• Open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in.
• Search for a place or click it on the map You Want To Edit
• On the left, scroll down and selectSuggest an edit. I
• Follow the instructions.
• Click Submit.
