How to join Unofficial local guides community in Google+

Hi all Local Guides,

It's been along time till I am trying to join Mumbai Unofficial community in Google+

But I am not getting accepted in joining the community 

But I am willing to join it from 3+ months

But I got no response from their side

I even contacted the person on Facebook who is leader of that community/manages

But he interacted with me first time then when I asked him why I am not getting accepted in the unofficial Google+ community 

There was no reply from Thier side

I live in Mumbai, India 

And I am willing to join /help the community

It would be awesome if someone help me with my problem 

I have already requested them, but they are not letting  me join in

It seems they are active as the moderator of community posts in the Google+ recently 

And not yet accepted me in Mumbai local guides unoficial community 

I know this problem cannot be solved by local guides, I tried to message Google moderator on forums, but it seems like they are busy so not replying 

So it would be awesome if I get a solution @Corrie @TraciC

If u are make any mistake otherwise ... violent their Community rule it will not approved your membership ...

But i see there is a problem with your username which is a seems as a business name ...

Some community approved any person or local guides as a member they dont allow any Business  as a member .

I think change your username and  try again ...

@Yash  as a moderator my point of view 2 reason they reject your join request .

1. your name like a company  so they think join there for spamming

2. maybe your ID post anything they review profile and think not perfect for LG community better if you share your G+ Id there

Hi all,

As per the replies till now it seems my name is the problem

Firstly I have never been violent or rude to anyone

Secondly my name "technology agencies" is due to some personal reasons"

I am a sole person/local guide

I have contributed alot in maps also

Is it possible that I can get accepted with my current name?

As I am a single person and live in Mumbai I can join Mumbai local guides Unofficial community 

Or I need to change my name withought it I cannot join?

yeah it seems you are rejected because of your name only change your name and you can try

I have changed name across everywhere 

There were some reasons I was not changing name like people can know In my area about my suggestions and what was suggested and there is no privacy (of course true suggestions good/bad)

And I liked to keep idendity hidden

But yeah now I have changed some stuff and it seems ok 

So I have changed name of Google account and thanks all for the suggestions I hope it will help me joining the unofficial community

I want to add in here that the Local Guides team does not moderate or oversee any unofficial communities as Connect is the only official Local Guides community that Local Guides owns and moderates. If any communities or members violate our program rules, we will to look into it further (send us information privately) but otherwise, we are not involved. Thank you, all for sharing your insights.
