How to get updates on prizes and money for my points

Can someone please explain and how me how I can get updates on how I can get money and prizes for my points?  If we even get anything for helping Google Maps?  I love helping but I like to get more than a badge and points.

We are happy to have you here. First of all I want to mention that this program is volunteer based. Unfortunately you can not money but you can redeem perks/prizes using your points, which comes time to time for local guides in different state, country or continents. 

Here on connect you can get latest update about perks. Keep an eye in General Discussion board.
