How do I add photos alof places

Hi!

Adding photos to a location is dependent on the device you use! There are multiple ways to upload photos on each device, so I'm going to be quoting the most popular from the Local Guides help page on "Add[ing], remov[ing], or shar[ing] photos in Google Maps." If you're experiencing any errors while uploading photos, please share! Otherwise I hope the instructions below will be helpful.

Adding photos to a place on the computer

1. Open Google Maps and search for a place.
2. After you've selected a place, click Add a photo. You might have to scroll down to see this.
3. A box will appear. Drag the photo that you’d like to upload, or click Choose photos to upload.

Adding photos to a place on the Android app

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.
3. From the bottom, tap the place's name or address to see more info.
4. Tap Add photos. You might have to scroll down to see this.
5. Take a new photo or choose a photo from your phone's gallery.

Adding photos to a place on the iOS app

1. Open the Google Maps app
2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.
3. From the bottom, swipe up on the place's name or address to see more info.
4. Tap Add photos. You might have to scroll down to see this.
5. You can take a new photo or choose a photo from your phone's gallery.

Hello @TheRealI

You can add your photos to Google Maps or remove them at any time. You can't add photos for addresses.

Tips:

• If you’re a Local Guide, you can get points by adding photos to Google Maps.
• Sometimes location info might be attached to your photos. Learn about location info that's added to your photos.
