How do I add a missing City/Town to maps

Hello, I would like to add a few local cities that are currently not on any of the maps. How do I add cities/towns to the map? Why is this feature not allowed?

Hi @CodyKapcsos,

City / Village is added by using Polygon tools using Mapmaker web application.

When Mapmaker is reopened around Aug 2015, the Polygon tools is not enabled again, thus only Google can edit those features requiring the Polygon tool.

We can use the Send Feedback tool in Maps to inform the Maps team regarding the missing City/Village, so that they can take care of that.

Click on the context menu in Maps , then choose Send feedback.

Write down your findings as detail as possible.  If you have photos that can help Google better understand the situation, you can post a link to the photos also.
