I just bought a house. The road that the house is on was built some time around January or Feburary this year, and it has not been added to Google Maps yet. It is visible in the satellite imagery for Google Maps on Android, but not for Google Maps on desktop. I would really like to get the road added to Google Maps so that it will be easier for people to find my house. I submitted the new road using Google Map Maker on August 20 (about 45 days ago) but it has not been accepted and I have not received any comments or feedback whatsoever.
I have been a strong local guide over the past 6 months or so, earning 116 points. I have edited a lot of incorrect information about local businesses, and those edits all seem to get accepted within a few days. So why is the street edit taking so long? Does my past history and reputation on Google Maps not count for anything? Is there anything I can do to make it actually happen?
Here is a screenshot of the road I tried to add:
