Help needed to host a meet-up on the volunteer day please.

Hello everybody!I'm @galilee_zoa from Cameroon,Central Africa,i'm trying to host an event on the 10th of december,to do something for my community on the volunteer day (here is the link http://bit.ly/2g4ofgc) but i went on the page specified and it seem's like i can't. Nowhere to do it whatever i do;is it because i'm an on level 1? I cannot click to select an event type,it only shows the description. What should i do please?I really want to do it.

Thank you @Anonymous for your help! I was sure that it's the right link! But when i hit the link you sent me i'm redirected on this page: https://maps.google.com/localguides/event/meet-up i don't understand why. whatever i do i am always redirected on that page,i can only see the calendars of others events, the four types of events and differents resources...

I find the confirmation why you are always redirected to the Meet-up page.

According to this post:

(PS. Don’t forget, if you’re a Level 2 Local Guide, you’re eligible to submit a request for your meet-up to be featured on our Local Guides calendar.)

All is clear now! i'm just a little busy these days to upgrade my level and my phone just crashed. Thank you for your help @YK1001 Now i will just host a small event with friends and post the pictures,something unofficial. Sure i will have many others occasions to have the approval of the team. I will try to make my city better,then the world,as little that as i can. I will precise on the page of the event on Google+(http://bit.ly/2g4ofgc) that i didn't got the official consent of the Local Guides team. Thanx.

Hi @galileez,

You can ask any Level 2 member of your community to register that event for you.

It does not have to be done by yourself.
