Google maps app in Iphone do not have Tap Add a photo

Hi every body,

I want to upload photo to google maps by application in Iphone,

However, there isn't tap "Add a photo"

Is there anybody know how to show tap Add a photo plz help me?

Please Update Your Google Maps App

Note: You can only add photos for points of interest, like businesses or parks, but not addresses or coordinates.

Add a photo

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app .
2. Search for a place or tap it on the map.
3. From the bottom, swipe up on the place's name or address to see more info.
4. Tap Add a photo. You might have to scroll down to see this.
5. You can take a new photo or choose a photo from your device's gallery.

See your photos

To see all the photos you've shared on Google Maps, follow the steps below.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap the Menu  Your contributions  Photos.

@BachB Let me suggest you as my experience says you need try old version of Google Map. 

For example have a look on the link mention below. 

I uploaded photos on this park by using old version of Google Map.

I just update the lastest version in appstore but not OK. I try add for point but tap "add a photo" is invisible, too. Thanks for reply!

Did you find solutions for this problem? For me its happen a few days ago, there is no add photo any more whatsoever.. also its show my total photo viewing is 12,000 but its should be about 24,000!

Hi @BachB it looks like you are not logged into the App so it doesn't know you're a Local Guide. You need to login then you will be able to contribute.

Sign in

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap the Menu   Sign in.

Open that location and tap photos on top of it and you will see Camera button. I am using it in my iPhone Plus

You can add 'n' number of photos.
