Editing via Local Guides has limited capabilities currently. Map Maker will be available until March 2017 and is appropriate for more complex edits to street names etc.
thanks for replying to my question; but the problem is that google maps maker isn't working on my region and i can't use it curretly to modifiy or to do anything for that matter.
When MapMaker closes in March it is hoped its functionality will be transferred to Local Guides - though nothing is confirmed - so you could wait until then.
Alternatively from the side panel on the map you can pick Send feedback > Other feedback. From there you can take a screenshot of the portion of the map with the issue and include a description of the problem.
When you mention, it's not us who say shalom, it could equally be put. it's not us who say Allah. It depends who we mean by 'us' in any given situation where we, perhaps unwittingly, create in-groups and out-groups. It may be better to leave religion or politics at the door when conversing in this forum? Peace be with you
كيف الحال اخي العزيز. مسألة تغيير اسماء الاحياء او الانشطة يتطلب اجراء رسمي بعد ان يرفع المرشد المحلي التعديا وذلك من خلال التواصل مع الجهات الرسمية. لأني أنا أيضا اقترحت تعديل مكان لأن المسمى الموضوع ليس في مكانه والى الان لم يتم التعديل ولكن هنالك ملاحظة بانه يتم التاكد من المعلومة
أخي الكريم يبدو أنه من الصعب تغيير أسماء الأحياء والمدن ... لأن خرائط قوقل لا تضع ثقتها في المرشدين المحليين في مناطقنا هذا مل لاحظته في تسمية عدة أحياء وأماكن من بينها حي قناني الذي لا أدري من يمزح وأعطاه الإسم الغريب "حي لارؤبل". ربما بعد 17 مارس ممكن تكون هناك تغييرات في خرائط قوقل وتعطى الثقة التامة في المرشدين المحليين
