There are two kind of Google badges

  • Google moderators, are Google employees that are moderating the community. To earn that badge you need to find a job in Google first (https://careers.google.com/). To know more, you can Meet the Google Moderators
  • Connect Moderators are Local Guides just like you and me. There is no application or nomination process. Keep contributing and engaging with your fellow Local Guides and the Local Guides team will be in touch if you are selected. To know more Meet the Connect Moderators
