Re: Who likes monsoon rains?

Hi @Maneetkaur,

Welcome to Connect and nice to meet you.

As I born and raised in a South American country, I'm more used with tropical weather, basically we do not have the 4 seasons in the year, at least Brazil does not. We have a great part of the year that is very hot and has many rains, another part that is a bit cooler, but without rains. Lately we are facing  worst drought and it has caused a certain alert. Natural reservoirs have been at very low water levels causing rationing in some cities.

In addition, since you're new to the community, you might want to share a bit about yourself and get to know others in our monthly Introduce Yourself topic. You can also read these Tips: Using Local Guides Connect.

Due to the high volume of private messages, Google Moderators do not read or respond to them. Please post publicly so others may benefit from your discussion. If you require urgent assistance, please tag a Google Moderator. Thank you!

Re: Who likes monsoon rains?

Hi @FelipePK!

Thanks for sharing your experience with the weather near you! Hope the drought situation gets better soon there! I remember we used to have continuous rainy days and used to skip school because of that - it was amazing. Now, I think the weather is changing entirely around the world. There is a channel on YouTube by the name VOX and they share a lot of information on weather, earthquakes, political presence at the arctic area, and much more. Do have a look at them if you are into such topics. I find them extremely interesting!

Thanks for sharing the the thread. Will surely introduce myself there and hope to meet some more amazing people around the world. 🙂

Have a good one! 🙂
