Re: What to look for when taking accessibility photos

@JanVanHaver wrote:

Sometimes I come across places that already have a ton of pictures, so my first instinct (being there with a smartphone only) is "don't bother taking a picture here, as there already are a lot better looking ones". But then I scroll through the photos and notice that none of those shows any of the accessibility features. The perfect "excuse' to upload a picture after all  🙂

Just what I was thinking. So much more useful than just another shot of the shop from from across the street. 🙂

Re: What to look for when taking accessibility photos

@TraciC

Re: What to look for when taking accessibility photos

Thank you, @AnnaDickson for this great content. 🙂  So many helpful tips for us as Local Guides! Surely, would add "accessibility photos" (and information) next time as I continue to review places ( will be 'more conscious' this time...). I usually look for accessibility signs whenever we need to go some place with my MIL(Mother-in-Law) who's  88 years old. She can still walk but gets  tired easily so we usually bring her in a wheelchair for family lunch or dinner out so she'll be more comfortable. Hopefully, more and more public places that we all go to will have these "accessibility support" systems in place - that would be awesome! Cheers! 🙂

Re: What to look for when taking accessibility photos

Thanks for providing this detailed tips ! Anyway, as a summarize or results, I thank it's gonna be great if we can get something like "accessibility-level" of some places, that are shown in the Maps near the rating icon.

All the best.

Re: What to look for when taking accessibility photos

@AnnaDickson
