Looking directly at the sun is unsafe except during the brief total phase of a solar eclipse (“totality”), when the moon entirely blocks the sun’s bright face, which will happen only within the narrow path of totality.

At totality no sun will be seen.

 

But taking an account of Einstein, I can guess that still some radiation can strike in our eyes since light can be bent by the space curvature created due to heavenly objects.

Still it can damage our eyes due to some Radiations which are directly coming from solar eclipse on moon
