Two Photos added= 10+ replicas on listing

after adding 2 photos google maps added another 10 plus.  Unable to post pics here because "screenshot"

Is to big to post.......

Why does Google Maps keep doing this?   I have fiber now aswell so cant be crappy connection?  I even wait 2 mins between uploads just to make sure. 

 

Anyone else getting this problem? 

Or cant I upload same aerial photography photo to different shops inside the centre?

Hi @NFN,

 

How do you add the photos?  Via Desktop Maps or Mobile Maps?  Or using the Share to Maps method in Mobile?

 

Can you try using different method and compare the results?

Hi @NFN duplicates occurs when connection is poor and you hit "retry" on your smartphone.

This occur very often!

Always via mobile.

 

Sometimes in Google maps 

(But have found previously that this failed sometimes but seems to have been fixed)

 

Or via gallery and post to option.

 

All done via on wifi with 20/20 uncapped fibre.

 

Problem only seems to pop up on some listings. Some times it corrects itself.
