Trying to map a mountain path

Hi all, I'm trying to map a mountain path, but I don't know how to do it.

This path is an ancient militar path for the WWWI and it's used to reach an historical place and an historical church, the fact is that nobody knows its existence except for the local people that lives here and I thought it would be a cute idea to add it on Google Maps.

Wow. That sounds like a killer project. Where is it? I would start with getting an overlay of the base map as a layer in my maps.

Then you can build the path as you hike it, using mymaps on mobile. There is a POi set for trails and accessibility.

This path is located in the northern Italy, in a little place among the Dolomites, this is called Laggio di Cadore.
