This location is very special.why?
Here is the mouth of the longest river in Africa ,and the disputed longest river in the world, because Brazil claims Amazon River is longer.
This area called Lessan which means in English tongue because it already looks like tongue. the area located in Ras Elbar city, which means the head of the land, at the northern coast of Egypt.
In this location, the Nile River supposedly flows into the Mediterranean sea, but differently, the Mediterranean sea that flows into the Nile! that means water in this part of the Nile is a seawater! Wow! River with a salt water! How? because of the water poverty, the Egyptian government built a dam on this branch of the Nile, Nile River has two branches forms the Nile Delta, to prevent fresh water of the Nile to flow into The salt water of the sea. so, the sea now flows into the river. even alot of Egyptians don't know this information, and think that this part of the Nile has a fresh water! That's why Local Guides matter.
