T Shirts were given out to qualifying Local Guides as a one-off earlier this year. At present there are no T-Shirts available as gifts or for purchase.

People were working in 2015. so they got their achievement but what about 2016.. we are employess still savings some time for our map making.Thats why we are in a top level map maker position with 4.5 million views on my update and 1400 points on my contribution. Motivated 6 to 7 guys to do the same to help people through map. We should be appreciated through a little t-shirt as it will motivate more to work . Looking forward to hear some positive reply from management.
As you can see there is a lot of apparel that could you eventually disguise you as a Google employee; and, anyway, no one could avoid that you download hi-res vectorial images of Google logos and create your own apparel. But this is forbidden and you could be pursued for this.
Google gives out items as a thank you and how you represent it is up to you, and they are not liable if you use it to come across and a employee. If they gave you a shirt or a badge to strictly assist in doing things for Google maps, they also take risk that if you mess up, it can fall back on them.
