Sugesstion for Google map funktion

It would be great to have a desktop application with a map viewer like the one in Google Picasa

where you can move the location to the right spot and fill in meta description

saving it in the image file.

Having automatic linking should be fine, the function in the mobile Street View app are not so precise at the moment

Check this panorama from Halsingborg in Sweden click on the map icon

Note this kind of map requires a Google Maps API key

I'd be in favor of that.

But Google stopped supporting Picasa, which makes me believe they have no plan, nor intention to develop desktop software.

The street View  Phone app has become like the one wanted

but after the third update the iOS version only displays the changes in the app itself

and not on the www

EDIT: All right Google should leave the "arrow business" and use the new function

 The markers are now on The map in the low left corner

You have to Expand the map and Zoom In to see the blue place markers
