Who knew there was a waterfall in the United States taller than Niagara Falls? I didn't! Shoshone Falls is 212 feet tall and 900 foot wide and is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the United States. We were there in April, 2019 and were just AMAZED at its size and beauty!
Something I discovered when I was titling this post is another post made by another Local Guide @TravelNurse89 - Shoshone Falls: The Niagara Falls of the West.. What is so interesting about that post is that the photo of the same Falls was taken just 5 months prior and the difference in water level going over the Falls is so significantly different! Crazy! Check it out! In the website about the Falls (https://www.tfid.org/309/Shoshone-Falls), it says
The Shoshone Falls is just beautiful!!!! If you are ever in the area... try to see it!
Here are my other photos from the Falls https://photos.app.goo.gl/urECUBsyqavQ1o2n8
