Recently in India Google Maps displays the regional languages text such as Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi etc. But when i viewed some places the regional languages displaying wrong. For example Colachel in Tamilnadu is குளச்சல் . But its shown as கொளச்சல். Same as Kalakkad , களக்காடு showing as காலக்காடு Any way to correct the language.

SolutionHi @deepakjhic,
I give 3 examples on how to do it. So it will be up to @SUBASH to decide which one is applicable to the case is being reported here.
May be @SUBASH want to include more details when he decided to post at the feedback board?

Hi @SUBASH,
For POIs that we can edit, we can suggested an edit to correct them.
For POIs and Features that we cannot edit, use Send feedback to inform the Maps team.
If it is a large scale and systematic issue - like all road names, city names, region names, etc, are wrong, then post the details in Connect's Feedback and Feature Requests board.

Hi @SUBASH I can understand your frustrations man.
There is a way you can try fixing it.
Just follow the below steps:
*Go to maps in phone and type the place where you want to change the regional language
*Once the pin is located on the name you want to change go to left corner of the app and scroll down and hit send feedback
*In feedback tab hit send app feedback it'll take you to another screen
*There you can submit correct name and your suggestions m
I've add some reference image for you.
I hope his helps you :). Don't worry man there is always a solution
