@opeyemisnryour observations are in order. Firstly, it has to do with orientation. People who know about Google maps, marketing and branding will quickly understand the idea but those who are not conversant will really be difficult. Most times, I ask for the person-in-charge and I try to explain while showing them the maps on my gadget. They get fascinated. 90% of them will ask me if it will cost them to have their photos added.
Let's try to use our interrelationship skills too. If possible, get more local guides to go with you. I have realized that the more guides, they less disturbance.
Let's do more and do not forget to add #accessibility information in all your reviews.
