Secondo la tradizione la città di Treviso prende il nome dalla statua dei Tre-Visi, una statua con tre facce attualmente posta di fronte all’entrata del Municipio, e originariamente collocata sulla scalinata del Palazzo dei Trecento. Dal latino Tervisus (tre vedute), la statua guarda il mondo a 360 gradi. Da qui, il nome del Meet-up (3-Viso 3-60) che con un gioco di parole e significati ha portato un gruppo di Local Guides a spostarsi anche da molto lontano per unirsi a noi per esplorare il mondo a 360°.
Anche quest’anno, per il photowalk che tradizionalmente segue il Wine Meet-up, siamo riusciti ad avere una giornata con un po’ di pioggia. Questo ovviamente ci rende felici, perché la luce diffusa permette di realizzare buone foto prive di ombre.
Parlare di ombre, dopo il wine meet-up, fa sorridere. Spiego per quelli che non vivono in Veneto: Ombra significa “bicchiere di vino”. L’origine del termine va cercata nelle tradizione della Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia (697 - 1797), quando i venditori ambulanti di vino in Piazza san Marco, per mantenere il vino fresco, si spostavano seguendo l’ombra del campanile.
Perciò eccoci qui, in Piazza dei Signori, alla scoperta del 360°. Siamo un gruppo eterogeneo, che comprende professionisti come @manulele81, che è arrivato da Norcia insieme a Gaetano; Guide Locali che già hanno aggiunto immagini a 360° in Google Maps, e ottenuto il badge StreetViewTrusted come @AngelaViale , o lord prenderanno presto, come @davide7O; Guide Locali che non hanno mai (o quasi) fatto una foto 360 come @AntonellaGr, @jthomas, @helga19
Tutti hanno però l’App Street View e quella della ThetaV installate sul telefono, per cui possiamo cominciare.
Partiamo ovviamente dal minimo. Per prima cosa mostriamo la App Street View, facendo vedere come sia possibile fare delle ottime foto 360 utilizzando solo il proprio telefono, e mettendo in evidenza i vantaggi (nessun costo per attrezzature, immagine 360 di alta qualità, possibilità di avere foto “pulite”) e gli svantaggi (stitching non sempre facile, immagini orrende in presenza di persone che si muovono, e vengono tagliate a metà). Realizzare immagini 360° è possibile per tutti, senza nessuna attrezzatura oltre al proprio telefono.
Facciamo qualche scatto, come questo, e poi passiamo dal “minimo” al “massimo”.
Emanuele ha portato con sé gli “Ocolus go”, con i quali ci fa avere una preview di quello che sta montando, relativo al terremoto in Umbria del 2016, e che potremo vedere in versione integrale il 16 Dicembre, nel nuovo meet-up
è domenica mattina, la gente è tranquilla e rilassata, e qualche passante si ferma incuriosito, vuole sapere cosa stiamo facendo, e soprattutto cosa stiamo guardando, dentro quello strano box grigio. Emanuele lo fa provare a tutti. Bravi, ben fatto, bellissimo, sono i commenti che riceviamo, e dopo la prova, le Local Guides non sembrano più degli “alieni”.
Mostro agli altri il piccolo tour che ho realizzato sotto al Palazzo dei Trecento, dove ci stiamo riparando dalla pioggia, e finalmente realizzare immagini a 360° non sembra più una cosa così “strana”.
Ci spostiamo, per raggiungere il “sottoportico dei Buranelli”, in modo da essere ancora al riparo dalla pioggia, in uno dei luoghi più romantici della città, e da li, passando per piazza Rinaldi, raggiungiamo il bar-Ristorante Odeon alla Colonna, dove Antonella scatta la sua prima 360°. Lei e JThomas ottengono più di 4000 visualizzazioni in meno di 24 ore. Bravi
Continua a piovere, per cui ci spostiamo nella chiesa di San Francesco. Completata nel 1271, è una interessante transizione tra il Romanico e il primo Gotico. Anche dentro la chiesa, le Local Guides si esercitano in 360, ovviamente.
Da li, ci spostiamo a Piazza san Parisio. La pioggia e il numero di persone che che attraversano la piazza non convincono Antonella, che rinuncia, con disappunto, a scattare la sua foto.
Sono le 13, è ora di pensare al pranzo. Google Maps ci aiuta a trovare un piccolo ristorante aperto, dove gustare piatti tipici della cucina tradizionale veneta, e naturalmente il famoso Radicchio rosso di Treviso. Concordi Angela?
Il prosecco non può ovviamente mancare, e neppure il tiramisù a fine pasto.
Ci credete che il ristorante non aveva nessuna immagine a 360 in Google Maps, prima che le Local Guides passassero di la?

I show the others the little tour I made under the Palazzo dei Trecento, where we are sheltering from the rain, and finally taking 360 ° photos does not seem so "strange" anymore.

It continues to rain, so we move to the church of San Francesco.
Completed in 1271, it is an interesting transition between the Romanesque and the first Gothic. Even inside the church, the Local Guides practice 360, of course.

It's 13, it's time to think about lunch. Google Maps helps us to find a small open restaurant, where you can taste typical dishes of traditional Venetian cuisine, and of course the famous red radicchio from Treviso. Do you agree Angela?
