Follow these steps to add a new place in Maps:

  1. Open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in.
  2. Zoom in to the map where you want to add a new place
  3. Point to the exact location where you want to add a place
  4. Then select Add a missing place.
  5. Write the details and if possible add pictures
  6. Click Submit.

Tip: The places with pictures and complete details has the highest probability to be accepted by Google. I mean very less chances to get rejected.
