Nilgiris Heritage Steam Train

Nilgiris Steam Train starts from Mettupalayam Station at elevation of 40 Mtrs above MSL and takes passengers from there to Ooty situated at an altitude of 2400 meters above MSL, thereby moving on the ghat rail line by crossing many bridge lines and tunnels, which are really enjoyable by the tourists.
