SolutionHi @JPG @M Techw @ClemarjonL To provide you with an official answer, we do not provide Local Guides with ID cards. If asked for identification, we encourage you to share that you are an individual member of the local community (and not an employee of Google) sharing your experiences and local community on Google Maps for others to discover. You are welcome to show them your profile in "Your contributions" in the Google Maps app if they wish to learn more or share the website, g.co/localguides, with those asking questions. I'm sure you are obeying all local laws but if someone does not wish to have their place photographed, it's OK to not photograph it. We encourage Local Guides to follow all local laws and respect privacy when it is asked.

I have the concern. I am taking secretly to different stores and establishment. Owner of those places might be offended while taking pictures on their premises.
Owners ask us and we cannot show a proof or even an Local Guides ID card. Google should offer a printable ID for Local Guides volunteer and contributor.
Is there a way on how to request an Google Local Guides ID Card?

I have taken hundreds of pictures of places (indoor and out) and have never been asked any questions. But I doubt you would be given any sort of Identification unless you actually worked for Google. Being a "Local Guide" is really just for fun and you are improving Google maps practically for free unless you consider the "perks" and free Google services a form of reward.

Not sure why I got tagged with the official answer but I didn't request any local guide identification. We don't need. It's not like, not having it, is a show stopper.
