Meetups are hosted by local guides just like you and it's not necessary to attend the all meetup.

The advantage of attending meetup is you can meet new people and gain knowledge from top contributors and professional photographer so you can make improve in your contribution.

I suggest you to attend any meetup you found in your nebhiourhood.
