Thanks for posting this, I have been taking static 360° photos for some time and have always balanced the camera on a mini tripod on my head ... however for moving SV shots this isn't possible as the camera obviously falls off. I've ordered the helmet and fixings so will follow your instructions... but knowing my luck I'll probably end up gluing the helmet to my head and have it as a permanent fixing!
