The photos i uploaded were of good quality and was correct for the business (to the best of my knowledge).
Are the businesses you added photos to still live on the map, can you link to any of them and post here. Can you post some of the photos? If photos don't appear in your contributions any more are they in your https://get.google.com/u/0/albumarchive/? If not you may have deleted all your images and in doing so removed them from the map
Hi @Ramnaths. Here's some information about how points are awarded and potentially removed:
Local Guides receive 1 point per place they upload photos to, whether it's 1 photos or 10 photo, though it must be a specific place or point of interest on Google Maps and not coordinates.
Points will decrease/are removed if photo or review contribution does not adhere to Google Maps' policies or if a place that an image or review is uploaded to is completely deleted from Google Maps. Visiting Your contributions tab within Google Maps should prove to be helpful if you're certain your contributions have not violated the policies.
Points occasionally do fluctuate and typically normalize after 24 hours or so (though for edits and photos, it's after they've been accepted/approved for points to be awarded).
Please take a look at "Your contributions" within Google Maps on desktop or on mobile to ensure all of your contributions are tied to a specific place or point of interest, as @Pea has noted (Thanks, Philip!). The thing is We had a sort of a competetion going here in Kerala (india) and i did a fair bit of mapping.... when i logged on after 3months to add some new places which i found are missing from the maps i found that my entire points for photos .... ie like 1500 points removed. If i had lost say 100 points i can understand. The photos i uploaded were of good quality and was correct for the business (to the best of my knowledge). I recently got a mail that my pics were viewed 100,000 times. So i should gather my pics were good enough..... kindly do the needful and look into the atter....

Looking at your photo contributions tab https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/115071223216821781234/photos/ you'll see that many say 'Unknown Place' this means the photo is no longer associated with a specific map listing. There are a couple of possible reasons for that. Either the business lost its listing or your photo was disassociated from the listing. In both circumstances you would have lost the point you gained.
Yea ... thnq @Pea i agree tat some of d pics aint good in quality ... but i think i hav found my actual problem.... i see that there are no photos in the archives (link u provided) i mistakingly deleted em all .... so its all on me .... unlicky me .... its hard losing soo much points at once 😑😐
