Lost Local Guide Points

I nearly lost 3500 points today morning (from 9000 to 5500). All my edits to the map are gone. I nearly had 700 approved edits to the map. I'm sure that these edits are not spam. Most of the edits were name additions/corrections in my native language Kannada. Today I was doing some editing to the names of places in Kannada and suddenly observed that all my previous edits are gone.  Also I had nearly 20 places added to the map and they are also gone. This is the case in both Google maps app and the website.

Please tell me what the problem is.

Don‘t be afraid. It happens from time to time. Google will recover them. For sure.

It is somehow related to a technical routine. It happens from time to time and always was fine after.

When it first time happened to me I engaged the whole family, because I thought my children did something on the computer...😉.

It happens to me from time to time and really always it is restored.
