Looks like Approval rate is better at 1100+ points

At 1100+ points I'm seeing many of my past edits get published and new ones showing in Google Maps immediately! Is that the idea?

It may be. I am around 550 points and a lot of my edits and added places are approved almost immediately.  It could do with my points, or because I do a lot of edits in my area and they have all been correct.

I'm over 1000 points since months, now around 1700, but i cannot see any change in approval rate. Sincerely i think that these things are not linked.

Same experience for me...

But it is not visible when you log out and not visible to other also, visible only when search it....

More over to above, I will challenge you to add remote rural area place and it will not be approve even after 5 weeks...

Is there any benefit of being over 1000 points... the feeling is that all the benefits end after reaching 500-600 points...?

I am at over 11,000 and I haven't seen my approval rate get better or worse. Its just about the same.
