Hurray!!! I am set🐉 Received an update yesteday and now I can see the badges.

I am assuming that Videos counts are included in the Photographer Badge?

@VBenedict Meh. Same. Pennsylvania to be specific. I'm a Google Maps beta tester. I actually just uninstalled it (back to factory settings on my Galaxy S8 Plus) and reinstalled, and I still don't have it. I wonder if being a beta tester is affecting me not getting the badges?

@Gabisdaddi not at all. I am a beta tester also.  In fact, I thought all local guides were classified as testers. Not sure now.

Why did you find it necessary to factory reset? Did you reset your device or just Google MAPS?

I am not able to see this update almost one month after announcement @HelloJess 

Can you tell me what term "soon" actually mean "few weeks", "few months", "a year", "few years" or...

I am just curious.

And as much I can see this update is more related directlly to Google Maps, not with Local Guides program...I mean this new badges will be shown to all Maps users, whatever they are part of Local Guide program or not? Or just for Local Guides?

Just curious, like always... 🙂
