Thursday afternoon, May 24, 2018, becomes a special time for Google Local Guides in Batu City. Yes, the Palm Tree Cafe invites no less than 50 members of Batu Local Guides and Malang Local Guides to attend the iftar event with a group of orphanage children. There is also a community of Malang Creators, a creative community that contains young people with different genres of social media.
Although it rains heavily, it does not diminish the spirit that comes to gather while waiting for the breaking of fasts together. The colorful lights and the blue hour make the atmosphere quite warm. In one corner of the cafe, has prepared a menu mainstay Palm Tree Cafe, namely grilled honey chicken. Chicken burned while smeared honey is certainly very tempting. This is presented in a live kitchen, so that everyone present can see the process.
Thankfully, the iftar event went well. The breaking event is family friendly. After the greeting from Batu Local Guides representatives, Malang Creators and Akbar Arfansyah as the owner of Palm Tree Cafe, the event was closed with a photo with all the participants in attendance.
