Hi, that was a nice informative post. Thank you!
I think that all of us who have pets should mention in our reviews for a particular place, the phrase "pet or dog allowed", so that it can be found in a related search by another user and be specific about the conditions, eg is the owner of the place allowing only small or all dogs, are dogs allowed inside the establishment or only on the terrace, if they should be on leash and muzzle .
Its a pity that google maps don't have a category like "dog allowing cafes" . In some of the places there is the possibility in the "more about this place" window to click on the item "pets allowed", in other places the item is missing totally. I would love to know why it is included in some cases and not in others...
I am living in Barcelona who is a city who loves animals and shows it. There are over 200 cafes and restaurants who allow dogs inside. According to the city regulations concerning the pets, it is up to the owner of the establishment to allow them in or not. I have made a public list of the places one can go, but, due to some bug that is under review right now, cannot be seen. Hope issue resolves itself quickly.

Hey @lucianavelasques, yes he always does :D. Thank you for bringing the drinking fountains out. It's important when you write a review for a place, whether is a dog park or hotel, to be more specific about the amenities offered. What kind of pet do you have?

Hi @curreir,
Thank you for sharing. Your dog is super cute! You can always share your idea about the categories to the Idea Exchange. Also, I agree about the size of the dog. Although some places are dog-friendly they are meant only for small dogs and not for bigger breeds.

@lucianavelasques thank you for sharing your photo. They look very cute. Just out of curiosity do you have cat-sitters in Brazil?

@VasT yes we have just a few ones because we still have more dogs than cats in Brazil. Cats always prefer stay at home and it's great and important have some people to check it out the cats when you travel. In my city, it's a small one, so we don't have many cat-sitter, usually we call a friend to take care of our cats in this situation. We also have hotels to pets but in general cats are not really fan of these places.
