Great tips @Christina-NYC!!
One tip I would add is to do a photowalk with other photographers! Maybe you're at a different level to me, but I learn so much from others by watching what and how they are taking photos. And sometimes, we get into a fun discussion on what's a better angle for a particular shot. Usually, in the end, we just try them all to see what works! 🙂

Siempre leo con gran interés tus buenos consejos, me dan buenas ideas para poder mejorar las fotos @Christina-NYC, gracias.
En general me gusta hacer fotos de casi todos los temas, pero para mí salir de la zona de confort sería hacer rostro de personas o hacer fotos de insectos,
las fotos de rostro de personas es complicado ya que en general no cuento con personas amigas a las cuales hacerles una foto o modelos, quedan esas fotos robadas, pero en fin, quedan fuera de lado.
Pero este año tuve la oportunidad de hacer en dos ocasiones unas fotos de unos abejorros libando unas flores, me sentí muy feliz por ello, ya que en donde viví (Patagonia sur) no hay muchos insectos para retratar, aquí las muestras de esas dos ocaciones.

Yes I too @Christina-NYC like the idea of a self-challenge! I'm always looking for ways to improve my photography skills so thank you for the interesting post.
