How many points do you have?

I think they dont select on the basis of points of Google Map by Local Guide Connect points like Kudos and Post

I think you have to achieve both

Points,views,kudos does not matter , what matters is how much you are contributing to the community,solving problems or at least giving guidance from your experience matters most.

Hello from India!

I joined Google Local Guides program in November 2016, and collected 1863 points till now, contributing 2355 photos of places, which got around 20 lac views! We in Kolkata were awarded with Swiggy food discount coupons for our contributions in this program.
