How many persons achieved Level 9 in the Local Guides program?

It would be nice if Goggle just gave out the totals for each level.  As a level 9, one day going on ten, it is a bit of an incentive 

to know you are in the top X% or not.  Goggle is also vague when it comes to the rarity of how many views you have.  It 

states that my number of views are "rare", but what does that really mean?  I had shifted most of my pics from Yelp to

Goggle Maps, partly because of better feedback...whether it is algorithm driven or not, it is nice to know what people

are viewing....especially if your pics are among the top choices.  My photography hobby consumes tons of time & money

and both Goggle & people benefit.

On another note, I feel that the jump from level 9 to 10 is rather ridiculous. As one person taking 10,000 pics over many

years in a local area, there are only so many places to take pics of.  Of course, one can take many pics of each place,

but somehow that is not as fun.  Who is to say that Goggle will not change the levels again, so that 20k of pics would

be a new level 5 for instance.  I also find that Goggle should keep rewarding people with cloud space for their pics,

we do put in the work for Goggle, and they should compensate. Even though Yelp has it's problems, they do not change

for pics space.

True but not impossible. You can also add new places or edit existing ones. Actually most of my points come from edits. Then photos then new places...

It's sort of a nice, new challenge to collect as many points for getting to the next level as you have collected so far. 🙂
