How long it will take gmap to remove a wrong place?

If i marked a place as irrelevant or wrong place and i did flag or remove request, then how long it will take gmap to permanently take down from maps?

Hi @Sanjay_viswa I have been fortunate enough to report a place that never existed on maps and it was removed after some days. 

There is no particular time frame stipulated for this, but if you did  Mark a place has permanently closed or never existed, such a place will still appear on Maps for some time  with reduce visibility but  with time it would disappear.

Hi @Sanjay_viswa, if u mark some place as permanently closed or duplicate of another place or similar then people from Google Maps have to make a decision about removing that place based on our sugestion. So just consider how many people mark places, some time need to be put when deciding about next move...

Is your edit accepted, or still pending?

In the first case, as @HelloSamsonR

said, it will slowly reduce visibility.

In the second case, it will go through a verification process.

Either instantaneously, a couple weeks, or never. About half of mine that I report get taken down within minutes. But as someone else mentioned, they can take a while to disappear from Maps, especially from my view of Maps, since they were in my Maps history.

@Sanjay_viswa - I'm little bit unclear about your words irrelevant or wrong. Would you mind to let us know is this place never existed there before.

In google map language a place can only be mark as doesn't exists if there was never such business in past. 

On the other hand permanently closed option can be use if a business will never be open in future. In most cases all edits based on your trust level. 

If your edit got accepted in next 15 seconds it will take 24 hrs to be permanently removed from map. In case of pending it will go for verification from other local guides /Googlers.
