SolutionHi @yidispreinyc Google Moderators are Paid employees working for Google that is why they have that designated and special title. And as well there is no qualification here from connect that qualifies a person to become a Google moderator. But you can learn more about having a career at Google through this link below:https://careers.google.com

Do you have a reference to the post? 'Google Moderator' can be interpreted in a few ways ways.
1. Local Guides Community Managers - They're basically the moderators of the Local Guides Connect forum, and also the private Local Guides community on Google+. They work for the Local Guides team, and you can find the requirements for the position on Google's job listing (just Google it).
2. Moderators for Local Guides community - They're Local Guides level 3 and above that have gone through Moderator training. You can apply to be one for communities that were created by Google (legacy from the City Experts program), or if you're an owner of a user created Local Guides community, you can also apply for Moderator training. Most use the orange frame on their profile photos. More details here and here.

Hi @DebanjanJPG, I think @iyudhi's answer was spot on!
All people that you see with "Google Moderator", such as myself, are Googlers and part of the Local Guides team 🙂

Hi! As @LuisRG said, only Google employees on the Local Guides team have the Google Moderator badge/are Google moderators.
Regarding jobs, you can view all opportunities at Google on the Google website, specifically: https://www.google.com/about/careers/

Hi. It looks like it added the period at the end of the sentence to the URL so I updated it to reflect https://www.google.com/about/careers/

The correct address is https://www.google.com/about/careers/ - I think the platform considers punctuation marks as forming part of links and creates wrong URIs when they are automatically generated (i.e. when someone simply types in https://www.google.com/about/careers/ while composing a message and that becomes live when posted instead of using the link button in the text editor between Insert Code and Insert Photos).
[Added] Oops, I didn't see @TraciC's response when I initially replied.
