Google Maps Preview

Hi Every One, 

I do not understand why Google is requesting to down load Google Maps Preview? And at the same time too many term and condition like telephone company is doing. What is the benefit with this preview maps? It looks like Google is trying put us on contract.

It's because you have subscribed to Google apps beta testing.

 

Here's how to unsubscribe.

  1. Go to the Google settings menu on your Android device. You can do this by going to Settings (settings) > Google.

  2. Tap the overflow menu (more_vert) in the top right corner of the screen, and then select Help & feedback.

  3. Tap the overflow menu (more_vert) in the top right corner of the screen, and then select View in Google Play Store.

  4. Scroll down to the You're a beta tester section, and then tap the Leave button.

The advantage having preview maps is you can test beta features and give feed back and help Google to fine tune maps.
