Google Mall Directory: A cool feature from Google Search widget

Hi this is an automatic feature created by Google using all the info from MyBusiness, Maps and Indoor Maps; activate when you are near a mall and is related to the development of Project Tango + Google Maps for indoor mapping, with new devices as like as Asus Zen phone and VPS (Visual Positioning Service) as announced in I/O 17 yesterday.

Thanks for the info. But actually the mall I visited doesn't have a Google indoor because it is not yet available here in our country (Philippines). Maybe this is the reason why the list is incomplete.

How would you know if the mall you're at has the indoor map? Is it possible to register one in case the place is not?

It's easy to understand if it's present or not.

You can see inside rooms and spaces, with names etc.

It's the same with malls.

If it's not present, only managers, or agencies working in behalf of owners, can upload floormaps through: https://maps.google.com/floorplans/find
