"Only about a fifth of fortunes had predictive or forward-looking statements about what may or will occur in the misty future, but a majority hit the most delightful topic of all: you."

Actually I personally don't believe on that because I believe on hard work. ..but we totally cannot refuse fortune cookies.

Thank you @AkmalB for notifying me about this post. 🙂
Before reading the main post I want to put my opinion.
I believe in hard work as well as fortune. Sometimes I don't believe in both and at that moment I believe in me.
I believe that my hard work does not make any sense while winning a lottery. Likewise I believe that my fortune does not make any sense in exam if I don't work hard while reading.
Of course a person achieves success if he /she works hard and fortune is in his/her way. Working hard can change a future but not a fortune.
Need an example? OK I am ready. hahaha
A man works hard to climb Mt. everest. He reaches just 1 m below the top of Mt. Everest but suddenly he slips and dies. I can say his fortune was not good.
